TRACT is a supply chain traceability and sustainability platform helping agricultural companies track supply chains, manage supplier data, and comply with EUDR (European Deforestation Regulation) and other industry regulations. By transforming complex sustainability and compliance data into actionable insights, TRACT enables companies to streamline due diligence processes, data collection, and supplier collaboration.

The UX/UI Challenge


  • Designing for the unknown: No existing workflows for regulations like EUDR


  • Making data actionable: Users needed to spot risks, compliance gaps, and sourcing origins quickly.


  • Adapting fast: The UX had to scale with diverse supply chains, regulations, and shifting priorities

Research and Discovery

I conducted user research across key topics including carbon, human rights, traceability, and EUDR compliance. These insights shaped product strategy as priorities evolved. Tools like journey maps, personas, and design strategies helped translate user needs into actionable platform experiences and created a shared understanding across the team.

Key Solutions

Visualizing Complex Supply Chain Data


To help users quickly grasp complex supply networks, I designed three interactive visualization modes:


  • Sankey Chart: Visualizes volume flow across supply chain tiers.

  • Network Graph: Reveals relationships and connections between nodes.

  • Map View: Displays geographic distribution and risk levels.


Each view supports different analysis needs while sharing the same interaction patterns. These visualizations turned raw traceability data into actionable insights, empowering users to spot risks and compliance gaps easily.

Building End-to-End Compliance Workflows


I designed all core workflows required for TRACT’s EUDR solution, including Due Diligence submission, data sharing, permission management, and risk reporting. These workflows laid the foundation for a complete compliance experience, ensuring the platform is ready for regulatory launch and customer onboarding.
